last friday, we took all the kids to verrezzano vineyard in greve, which takes about an hour to get to. we did the same trip last year, and once again it was one of my favorite days of the year. there's really not a whole lot to say about it other than it's beautiful and peaceful. and every year the kids really enjoy it which is a bonus (and two years in a row we've ended with one of them playing the piano and the rest of us singing, horribly. kind of
a cute tradition.) also at the end of the tour we get to sit and try the wines they make there AND eat delicious food- this year it was pasta al pomodoro followed by an assortment of meats (salami, prosciutto, etc.) and cheese, and then salad and some grilled veggies and cannellini beans. so simple yet SO good!
